Back-up Light Switch: Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove the intercooler. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Intercooler.>
  3. Disconnect the transmission harness and chassis harness.

  4. Measure the resistance between the back-up light switch terminals. If it is not within the specification, replace the back-up light switch.
Gear shift position Terminal No. Standard
Back position 3 and 6 Less than 1 Ω
Other positions 1 MΩ or more
