Section 1 (Engine Cooling System (STI)): Thermostat: Removal

Drain engine coolant. <Ref. to DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant.>
Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from thermostat cover.

Remove the thermostat cover, and then remove the gasket and thermostat.
