Circuit description

The oil temperature sensor installed in the valve body detects the oil temperature in the transmission hydraulic control circuit and inputs signals corresponding to the oil temperature to the transmission control computer ASSY.

  1. Detecting that neutral start switch ASSY is normal, shift position sensor is in D position, ATF temperature when IG ON is less than 20°C, current ATF temperature is less than 20°C, and vehicle speed is 40 km/h {25 MPH} or more
  2. Any of the following conditions is established.
    • After IG is turned ON, oil temperature sensor input voltage fluctuation while diagnosis conditions are met is 0.05 V or less
    • Oil temperature sensor input voltage fluctuation while diagnosis conditions are met is 0.05 V or less.
  3. Continuing 600 seconds
  4. 2 trips
  • Transmission wire (oil temperature sensor)
  • Wiring harness or connector
