CVTF Cooler Pipe and Hose: Installation
CAUTION:
When installing the CVTF cooler pipe assembly on vehicle side, be careful not to bend the A/C pipe.
- Temporarily install the CVTF cooler pipe COMPL, transmission hanger and transmission radio ground cord to the transmission.NOTE: Use a new gasket.
- Tighten the union screws and bolts in the order of (A) → (B) → (C).
Tightening torque:
T1: 35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)
T2: 40 N.m (4.1 kgf-m, 29.5 ft-lb)
T3: 41 N.m (4.2 kgf-m, 30.2 ft-lb)
- Install the transmission case cover.
Tightening torque:
8 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.9 ft-lb)
- Install the adapter harness connector to the transmission hanger.
Connect the following harness connectors.
- Transmission harness connectors
- Inhibitor harness connector
- Transmission radio ground terminal
Tightening torque:
13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)
- Install the CVTF cooler pipe assembly to vehicle.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.76 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the A/C pipe to clip.
- Install the battery cable bracket, and install the battery cable clip to the bracket.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.76 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the engine coolant reservoir tank. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Install the CVTF CVT inlet hose and CVTF CVT outlet hose.NOTE: Use new CVTF CVT inlet hose and CVTF CVT outlet hose.
- Install the CVTF radiator inlet hose and CVTF radiator outlet hose on radiator side.NOTE: Use new CVTF radiator inlet hose and CVTF radiator outlet hose.
- Install the under cover.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the battery.
- Adjust the CVTF level and check there is no leakage. Refer to ADJUSTMENT .
