Illumination Does Not Come On Or Cannot Dim: Wiring Diagram

Step	Check	Yes	No
1 CHECK CONNECTOR. Check for poor contact of connector.	Is there poor contact?	Repair the connector.	Go to step 2 .
2 CHECK HARNESS. Turn the ignition switch to ON. Using a tester, measure the voltage between the A/C control panel connector (i88) and chassis ground. Connector & terminal Auto A/C (i88) No. 3 (+) - Chassis ground (-): Manual A/C (i88) No. 2 (+) - Chassis ground (-):	Is the voltage 10 V or more?	Go to step 3 .	Repair or replace the open circuit of harness.
3 CHECK HARNESS. Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Measure the resistance between A/C control panel connector (i88) and body integrated unit connector (i84). Connector & terminal Auto A/C (i88) No. 9 - (i84) No. 16: Manual A/C (i88) No. 10 - (i84) No. 16:	Is the resistance less than 10 Ω?	Go to step 4 .	Repair or replace the open circuit of harness.
4 CHECK A/C CONTROL PANEL UNIT. Check the A/C control panel. Refer to INSPECTION .	Is A/C control panel OK?	A/C control panel illumination circuit is normal.	Replace the A/C control panel. Refer to REMOVAL .
