DTC P2610: ECM/Pcm Internal Engine Off Timer Performance: DTC Detecting Condition

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION. Refer to DTC P2610 ECM/PCM INTERNAL ENGINE OFF TIMER PERFORMANCE .
CAUTION: After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode. Refer to OPERATION and PROCEDURE .

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Check	Yes	No
1 CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.	Is any other DTC displayed?	Check DTC using "List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". Refer to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .	Replace the ECM. Refer to ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) . NOTE: The soak timer IC is built into the ECM.
