Is there any fault in LAN system? | Perform the diagnosis according to DTC for LAN system. < Refer to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > | Go to step 2 . |
2 CHECK REVERSE SIGNAL USING SUBARU SELECT MONITOR.

Is "OFF" displayed when the shift lever is placed in any position other than reverse, and is "ON" displayed in reverse position? | Go to step 5 . | Go to step 3 . |
3 CHECK BACK-UP LIGHT ILLUMINATION.

Does the back-up light illuminate? | Go to step 4 . | Repair the back-up light circuit. |
4 CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN BODY INTEGRATED UNIT AND BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH.

Is the resistance less than 1 Ω? | Replace the backup light switch. < Refer to SWITCHES AND HARNESS . > | Repair the harness between body integrated unit and back-up light switch connector. |
5 CHECK VDCCM&H/U.

Is the same DTC displayed? | Replace the VDCCM only. < Refer to REPLACEMENT , VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U). > | Go to step 6 . |
| 6 CHECK OTHER DTC DETECTION. | Is any other DTC displayed? | Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. < Refer to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > | Temporary poor contact occurs. |
