Engine Coolant: Inspection

CAUTION:
  • Do not use water in place of the coolant fluid.
  • Refer to "RM" information for recommended engine coolant. < Refer to ENGINE COOLANT , RECOMMENDED MATERIALS, Recommended Materials. >
  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
  2. When the engine is cold, make sure that the reservoir tank level is between "FULL" and "LOW".
    NOTE: If the coolant level is low, check for the coolant leakage and refill the coolant up to the "FULL" line.

  3. Open the radiator cap, and check that the coolant is filled up to the filler neck position.
