Purge Control Solenoid Valve: Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:
  • Hold the purge control solenoid valve unit by hand to prevent it from rotating together.
  • Connect the vacuum hose as shown in the figure.

  • Check that the vacuum hose (b) is securely held to the clip (a) of the intake manifold.

Tightening torque: 

6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)
