A: Removal

  1. Remove the muffler.
  2. Remove the trailer hitch harness.

  3. Remove the rear bumper face. < Refer to REAR BUMPER FACE , REMOVAL, Rear Bumper. >
  4. Remove the bolts, then remove the side plate lower.

  5. Remove the nuts, and then remove the trailer hitch main frame assembly.
    CAUTION: The trailer hitch main frame assembly is heavy. Be careful when removing.

  6. Remove the side plate upper from the vehicle.
