1 CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT OF SPORT/MANUAL MODE SWITCH.

Is the resistance less than 1 Ω? | Go to step 2 . | Repair the open circuit of the harness between the sport/manual mode switch and chassis ground. |
| 2 CHECK SPORT/MANUAL MODE SWITCH. Measure the resistance between sport/manual mode switch terminals. Connector & terminal (B117) No. 7 - No. 8: |
Is the resistance 1 MΩ or more? | Go to step 3 . | Replace the select lever assembly. < Refer to SELECT LEVER . > |
3 CHECK SPORT/MANUAL MODE SWITCH.

Is the resistance less than 1 Ω? | Go to step 4 . | Replace the select lever assembly. < Refer to SELECT LEVER . > |
4 CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR BETWEEN TCM AND SPORT/MANUAL MODE SWITCH.

Is the resistance less than 1 Ω? | Go to step 5 . | Repair the open circuit of harness between TCM and sport/manual mode switch connector. |
5 CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR BETWEEN TCM AND SPORT/MANUAL MODE SWITCH.

Is the resistance 1 MΩ or more? | Go to step 6 . | Repair the short circuit of harness between TCM and sport/manual mode switch connector. |
6 CHECK INPUT SIGNAL FOR TCM.

Is the voltage 10 V or more? | Go to step 7 . | Replace the TCM. < Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) . > |
