Diagnostic Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Check Yes No
1 CHECK ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE CM USING SUBARU SELECT MONITOR. 
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  2. Release the parking brake.
  3. Approximately 10 seconds after releasing the parking brake, clear the memory using the Subaru Select Monitor. < Refer to CLEAR MEMORY MODE . >
  4. Read the DTC.
 Is DTC displayed? Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. < Refer to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > It results from a temporary voltage drop.
