Diagnostic Method (Except For PZEV Model)

Judge as NG when the following conditions are established.

Rich   
Main feedback learning value < -0.13
Sub feedback learning value < -0.02
When any one of the followings is established.  
  • Any one of the rich side misfire counters for each cylinder when in idling
> 35 time(s) (AT model)
  > 20 time(s) (MT model)
  • Total of the rich side misfire counters for each cylinder when in idling
> 35 time(s) (AT model)
  > 20 time(s) (MT model)
  • Any one of the rich side misfire counters for each cylinder when not in idling
> 30 time(s) (AT model)
  > 2 time(s) (MT model)
  • Total of the rich side misfire counters for each cylinder when not in idling
> 30 time(s) (AT model)
  > 2 time(s) (MT model)
Lean   
Main feedback learning value > -0.05
Sub feedback learning value < -0.007
When any one of the followings is established.  
  • Any one of the lean side misfire counters for each cylinder when in idling
> 300 time(s) (AT model)
  > 55 time(s) (MT model)
  • Total of the lean side misfire counters for each cylinder when in idling
> 300 time(s) (AT model)
  > 55 time(s) (MT model)
  • Any one of the lean side misfire counters for each cylinder when not in idling
> 120 time(s) (AT model)
  > 2 time(s) (MT model)
  • Total of the lean side misfire counters for each cylinder when not in idling
> 120 time(s) (AT model)
  > 2 time(s) (MT model)

Time Needed for Diagnosis:  1000 engine revs.

Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination:  Illuminates when malfunction occurs in 2 continuous driving cycles.

Judge as OK and clear the NG if the following conditions are established.
