Oil Cooler: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: If the engine oil is spilt over exhaust pipe or the under cover, wipe it off with cloth to avoid emitting smoke or causing a fire.
  1. Lift up the vehicle.
  2. Remove the under cover. Refer to FRONT UNDER COVER .
  3. Drain engine coolant. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT .
  4. Drain the engine oil. Refer to , REPLACEMENT , Engine Oil.
  5. Remove the bolts which hold the engine oil cooler water pipe to chain cover and disconnect the water hose from oil cooler.

  6. Remove the engine oil filter using the ST. Refer to , REMOVAL , Engine Oil Filter.

  7. Remove the oil cooler connector and remove the oil cooler.
