Oil Cooler: Removal

CAUTION:
If the engine oil is spilt over exhaust pipe or the under cover, wipe it off with cloth to avoid emitting smoke or causing a fire.
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Remove the under cover. Refer to FRONT UNDER COVER .
- Drain engine coolant. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT .
- Drain the engine oil. Refer to , REPLACEMENT , Engine Oil.
- Remove the bolts which hold the engine oil cooler water pipe to chain cover and disconnect the water hose from oil cooler.
- Remove the engine oil filter using the ST. Refer to
, REMOVAL , Engine Oil Filter.

- Remove the oil cooler connector and remove the oil cooler.
