Oil Cooler: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Tighten the oil cooler connector to install the oil cooler to the oil pan upper.

    Tightening torque: 

    54 N.m (5.5 kgf-m, 39.8 ft-lb) 

    NOTE: Use new O-rings.

  2. Attach the engine oil filter. Refer to , INSTALLATION , Engine Oil Filter.
  3. Attach the bolts which hold the engine oil cooler water pipe to chain cover and connect the water hose to oil cooler.

    Tightening torque: 

    T: 6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

  4. Install the under cover. Refer to FRONT UNDER COVER .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Fill the ATF. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT .
  7. Refill the engine oil. Refer to , REPLACEMENT , Engine Oil.
  8. Check the engine oil level. Refer to , INSPECTION , Engine Oil.
