Radiator Main Fan and Fan Motor: Removal

Remove the collector cover.
NOTE: Follow the steps below when removing the collector cover.
1. Pull up the two points at the rear (A).
2. Pull up the two points at the front (B) while moving them forward.

Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the under cover. Refer to FRONT UNDER COVER .
Drain engine coolant completely. Refer to , DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
Disconnect the integrated connector of radiator main fan & fan motor and radiator sub fan & fan motor.

Lower the vehicle.
Remove the air intake duct. Refer to FRONT UNDER COVER .
Remove the grille bracket.
NOTE: Remove ten clips when removing the grille bracket.

Remove the reservoir tank. Refer to , REMOVAL .
Remove radiator upper hoses LH and RH only on radiator side.

Remove the ATF hose from the clip of radiator fan shroud.
Remove bolts on the upper side of radiator fan shroud.

Remove the radiator fan shroud.

NOTE: When pulling up the radiator fan shroud, be careful not to damage the radiator hose or ATF hose.
