Section 10 (Engine Cooling System - Cooling (H4DOTC - 2.5L DOHC Turbo)): Thermostat: Installation

Install a gasket to thermostat.
NOTE: Use a new gasket.
Install the thermostat and thermostat cover.
NOTE: Install the parts with the jiggle pin facing upside.

Tightening torque: 9 N.m (0.9 kgf-m, 6.6 ft-lb)

Connect the radiator outlet hose to thermostat cover.
Install the under cover. Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Under Cover.
Lower the vehicle.
Fill engine coolant. Ref. to FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant.
