Check Acc Or Ignition Power Supply

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

Step Check Yes No
1 CHECK ACC POWER SUPPLY. 
  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the clock harness connector.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
  4. Measure the voltage between the clock harness connector and chassis ground.

    Connector & terminal 

    (i59) No. 9 (+) - Chassis ground (-): 

Is the voltage 10 V or more? Go to step 2.  Check for open circuits in the harness between the fuse and the clock.
2 CHECK THE IGNITION POWER SUPPLY. 
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  2. Measure the voltage between the clock harness connector and chassis ground.

    Connector & terminal 

    (i59) No. 8 (+) - Chassis ground (-): 

Is the voltage 10 V or more? Replace the clock body. Check for open circuits in the harness between the fuse and the clock.
