Should you encounter a customer complaint of hearing a "whooshing" type sound during acceleration that does not seem normal or has changed over time, inspect all of the turbo inlet and outlet rubber hoses, boots and intercooler connection(s) to the throttle body for rolled or pinched boots. The Tech Line has received feedback from the field indicating the hoses were not always properly reinstalled during inspections of other components. Please do not overlook this item as a possible source of noise.
