1 CHECK ECM SIGNAL.
- Start the engine.
- Measure the voltage between ECM connector and engine ground.

Is the voltage 0 ← → 14 V? |
Go to step 2. |

2 CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN COMBINATION METER AND ECM.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the connector from ECM and combination meter.
- Measure the resistance between ECM harness connector and combination meter harness connector.

Is the resistance less than 10 Ω? |
