Cooling System (H6DO): Radiator: Removal
WARNING:
The radiator is pressurized. Wait until engine cools down before working on the radiator.
- Set the vehicle on a lift.
- Remove the collector cover.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Remove the under cover.
- Drain engine coolant completely.

- Disconnect the radiator hose from radiator.
- Remove the bolts on the underside of the radiator stay.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the air intake duct. < Refer to REMOVAL , Air Intake Duct. >
- Remove the front upper cover.
- Remove the radiator upper brackets.
- Remove the radiator stay.
- Remove the latch.
- Remove the radiator hose bracket.
- Remove the clip holding the harness.
- Remove the bolts on the left side of the radiator stay.
- Remove the bolts on the right side of the radiator stay.
- Disconnect the connector from radiator fan control unit.
- Remove the reservoir tank.
- Disconnect the radiator hose from radiator.
- Disconnect the ATF cooler hose from the radiator.NOTE: Plug the ATF pipe to prevent ATF leaks.
- Remove the front bumper. < Refer to REMOVAL , Front Bumper. >
- Remove the bolts which hold the radiator and condenser.
- Remove the clip holding the ambient temperature sensor harness.
- Lift the radiator up and away from vehicle.
