Center Differential Carrier: Disassembly

Remove the seal ring.

Using a press and ST, remove the ball bearing.
ST 498077600 REMOVER

Fig 2: Identifying Ball Bearing
Remove the snap ring, and pull out the shaft from center differential assembly.

Fig 3: Identifying Shaft From Center Differential Assembly
Remove the thrust washers, pinion gears and washers from center differential assembly.

Fig 4: Identifying Pinion Gears And Washers
Pull out the intermediate shaft and thrust bearing.
