Section 65 (Cooling System (H6DO)): Thermostat: Removal

Set the vehicle on a lift.
Lift-up the vehicle.
Remove the under cover.
Drain engine coolant completely.

Disconnect the radiator hose from thermostat cover.

Remove the thermostat cover, and then remove the thermostat.
