Neutral Position Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the connector of neutral position switch.
  3. Measure the resistance between neutral position switch terminals.

    Non-TURBO model: 

    NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION (NON-TURBO MODEL)

    Gear shift position Terminal No. Specified resistance
    Neutral position 1 and 2 Less than 1 Ω
    Other positions More than 1 MΩ

    Turbo model: 

    NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION (TURBO MODEL)

    Gear shift position Terminal No. Specified resistance
    Neutral position 1 and 3 Less than 1 Ω
    Other positions More than 1 MΩ

  4. Replace defective parts.
