- Abnormality Judgment
Count the counter up when the malfunction criteria below are completed by checking the change such as tank pressure, atmospheric pressure and fuel level during every 80 seconds. Judge NG when the count comes to the specified number (3 times).
- Judgment Value JUDGMENT VALUE (ABNORMALITY JUDGMENT)
Malfunction Criteria Threshold Value Change of tank pressure during 80 seconds ≥ 0.6 kPa (4.5 mmHg, 0.2 inHg) Change of atmospheric pressure during 80 seconds ≥ 0.6 kPa (4.5 mmHg, 0.2 inHg) Change of fuel level during 80 seconds ≤ 8 l (2.1 US gal, 1.8 Imp gal) Time Needed for Diagnosis : 80 seconds x 3 times
Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination : Illuminates when malfunction occurs in 2 continuous driving cycles.
- Normality Judgment
Judge OK and clear the NG when all the malfunction criteria below are completed.
