- DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with malfunction
CAUTION: After repair or replacement of malfunctioning parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode < Ref. to OPERATION , CLEAR MEMORY MODE > and INSPECTION MODE < Ref. to OPERATION , INSPECTION MODE. > - WIRING DIAGRAM:

1 CHECK INPUT SIGNAL FOR ECM.

Is the measured value more than 10 V? | Go to step 3. | Go to step 2. |
| 2 CHECK POOR CONTACT. Check poor contact in ECM connector. |
Is there poor contact in ECM connector? | Repair poor contact in ECM connector. | Replace ECM. < Ref. to ENGINE CONTROL MODULE . > |
3 CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN FUEL TANK SENSOR CONTROL VALVE AND ECM CONNECTOR.

Is the measured value more than 10 V? | Repair battery short circuit in harness between ECM and fuel tank sensor control valve connector. After repair, replace ECM. < Ref. to ENGINE CONTROL MODULE . > | Go to step 4. |
4 CHECK DRAIN VALVE.

Is the measured value less than 1 Ω? | Replace fuel tank sensor control valve < Ref. to FUEL TANK SENSOR CONTROL VALVE > and ECM < Ref. to ENGINE CONTROL MODULE . > | Go to step 5. |
| 5 CHECK POOR CONTACT. Check poor contact in ECM connector. |
