DTC P1443 - Vent Control Solenoid Valve Function Problem -

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Detected simultaneously at occurrence of malfunction.
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- Improper fuel supply
CAUTION: After repair or replacement of malfunctioning parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode < Ref. to OPERATION , CLEAR MEMORY MODE > and INSPECTION MODE < Ref. to OPERATION , INSPECTION MODE. >

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Check	Yes	No
1 CHECK ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.	Is any other DTC displayed?	Inspect the relevant DTC using "List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >	Go to step 2.
2 CHECK DRAIN HOSE. Check the following items. Clogging of canister drain hose	Is drain hose clogged?	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.	Go to step 3.
3 CHECK DRAIN VALVE OPERATION. Turn ignition switch to OFF. Connect test mode connector at the lower portion of instrument panel (on the driver's side). Turn ignition switch to ON. NOTE: Drain valve operation can also be executed using Subaru Select Monitor. For the procedure, < Ref. to COMPULSORY VALVE OPERATION CHECK MODE . >	Does drain valve produce operating sound?	Contact with SOA service center. NOTE: Inspection by is required, be cause probable cause is deterioration of multiple parts.	Replace drain valve. < Ref. to DRAIN VALVE . >
