DTC P0483 - Cooling Fan Rationality Check -

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with malfunction
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- Occurrence of noise
- Overheating

CAUTION: After repair or replacement of malfunctioning parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode < Ref. to OPERATION , CLEAR MEMORY MODE > and INSPECTION MODE < Ref. to OPERATION , INSPECTION MODE. >

NOTE: If the vehicle, with the engine idling, is placed very close to a wall or another vehicle, preventing normal cooling function, the OBD system may detect malfunction.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

1 CHECK ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.	Is any other DTC displayed?	Inspect the relevant DTC using "List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >	Check radiator fan and fan motor. < Ref. to RADIATOR MAIN FAN AND FAN MOTOR > and < Ref. to RADIATOR SUB FAN AND FAN MOTOR . >
