DTC P0121 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit Range/Performance -

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with malfunction
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- Erroneous idling
- Engine stalls.
- Poor driving performance
CAUTION: After repair or replacement of malfunctioning parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode < Ref. to OPERATION , CLEAR MEMORY MODE > and INSPECTION MODE < Ref. to OPERATION , INSPECTION MODE. >

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Check	Yes	No
1 CHECK ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.	Is any other DTC displayed?	Inspect the relevant DTC using "List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > NOTE: In this case, it is not necessary to inspect DTC P0121.	Replace throttle position sensor. < Ref. to THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR . >
