DTC P0506 Idle Control System Rpm Lower Than Expected

DTC DETECTING CONDITION: 

TROUBLE SYMPTOM: 

CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode < Ref. to , OPERATION , Clear Memory Mode.> and Inspection Mode < Ref. to , PROCEDURE , Inspection Mode.>.

DTC P0506 DIAGNOSIS

Step Check Yes No
1. CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.  Is any other DTC displayed? Inspect the relevant DTC using "List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to , LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >
NOTE: In this case, it is not necessary to inspect DTC P0506.
Go to step 2. 
2. CHECK AIR CLEANER ELEMENT. 
  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Check air cleaner element.
Is there excessive clogging on air cleaner element. Replace the air cleaner element.< Ref. to AIR CLEANER ELEMENT Go to step 3. 
3. CHECK ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL. 
  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Remove the electronic throttle control.
  3. Check the electronic throttle control.
Are there foreign particles in electronic throttle control? Remove the foreign particles from electronic throttle control. Perform the diagnosis of DTC P2101.
