Cam Sprocket: Installation

  1. Install the cam sprocket. To lock the camshaft, use ST.
    NOTE: Do not confuse cam sprockets (RH) and (LH) during installation.
    1. ST 499207400 CAMSHAFT SPROCKET WRENCH
    2. Tightening torque: 98 N.m (10 kgf-m, 72.4 ft-lb)

    3. ST 499977500 CAMSHAFT SPROCKET WRENCH
    4. Tightening torque: 29.5 N.m (3.0 kgf-m, 21.8 ft-lb), and then tighten 45° furthermore

  2. Install the timing belt assembly. < Ref. to INSTALLATION  . >
  3. Install the timing belt cover. < Ref. to INSTALLATION  . >
  4. Install the crank pulley. < Ref. to INSTALLATION  . >
  5. Install the V-belt. < Ref. to INSTALLATION  . >
