Brake Fluid

CAUTION: Avoid mixing different brands of brake fluid to prevent degrading quality of fluid.
BRAKE FLUID TYPE (1)

Application Fluid Type
Forester (2) FMVSS No. 116
(1) Replace fluid every 30 months or 30,000 miles (15,000 miles if under severe conditions).
(2) Fresh DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid must be used.
