Diagnostic Method

Perform the diagnosis when the conditions below are not completed for more than 40 milliseconds on normal control.

1. Vehicle speed is more than 10 km/h (6 MPH).
2. Throttle sensor is more than a certain angle.
3. Shifted to "D", "3", "2" or "1" range, and range signal is normal.
4. More than 1 second passed after shift change finished.

1. Time Needed for Diagnosis:  3 seconds
2. Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination:  Illuminates when malfunction occurs in 2 continuous driving cycles.
