Tumble Generator Valve Assembly: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  2. Remove the intake manifold, see REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (IMPREZA WRX 2.0L) , Intake Manifold.
  3. Disconnect the connector from the tumble generator valve sensor.

  4. Disconnect the connector from the tumble generator valve actuator.

  5. Remove the fuel injector. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (IMPREZA WRX 2.0L) , Fuel Injector.
  6. Remove the tumble generator valve body from the intake manifold.
