Seatbelt Warning Light & Chime

When ignition switch is turned to the ON position, the seatbelt warning light and the reminder chime will both activate for about six seconds to remind the driver to fasten his seatbelt. See Figure . While both reminder devices automatically shut off after six seconds, the reminder chime will also stop when the driver's side seatbelt is fastened.
