Brake System Warning Light

See Figure for lamp location. This light has the following 2 functions:

1. Parking Brake Warning  - With the ignition switch in the ON position and the parking brake applied, the warning light comes on then goes out when the parking brake is fully released.
2. Brake Fluid Level Warning  - With the ignition switch in the ON position and the parking brake fully released, the warning light comes on if the brake fluid level has dropped to near the reservoir's MIN line. If the light comes on while driving, this could indicate a brake fluid leak or worn brake pads. Check that the parking brake is fully released and ignition switch is positioned in ON.
