DTC P1112: Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem - Forester, IMPREZA 2.5L & Legacy & Outback 2.5L A/T

  1. Perform basic diagnostic procedure. See BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If DTC P0106, P0107, P0108, P1110 or P1111 is set, diagnose and repair affected DTC first. If DTC P1112 is only code set, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect electrical connector from atmospheric pressure sensor. Remove atmospheric pressure sensor. Check sensor filter for contamination, damage, water leakage, etc. Replace filter as necessary. Reinstall sensor and connector. Go to next step.
  3. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read intake manifold absolute pressure. If pressure is between 21.65 in. Hg and 31.50 in. Hg, replace atmospheric pressure sensor. If pressure is not between 21.65 in. Hg and 31.50 in. Hg, replace intake air temperature and pressure sensor. Clear memory and perform verification procedure. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  and VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
