Activating Air Bag System (CR-V, Insight, Odyssey, Prelude & S2000)

  1. Ensure ignition is OFF and both battery cables are disconnected. Wait at least 3 MINUTES. Connect 2-pin driver air bag connector. Install access panel.
  2. Connect 2-pin passenger air bag connector. Install glove box. On CR-V, Insight, Odyssey and S2000, connect both front seat belt pretensioner 2-pin connectors to SRS main harness. Install trim panels.
  3. Reconnect battery cables. Check SRS indicator light to ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK . Reprogram radio frequencies.
