Cylinder Head: Installation

  1. Ensure cylinder head and engine block mating surfaces are clean and dry. Install NEW head gasket. Coat washers and head bolt threads with oil. Install cylinder head and tighten bolts to specification, in sequence. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
