Forester & Impreza

  1. Remove sun roof relay. Check continuity between relay terminals. See Fig 1 . Continuity should be present between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should not be present between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity is as specified, go to next step. If continuity is not as specified, replace sun roof relay.
  2. Apply battery voltage between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should now be present between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity is as specified, relay is okay. If continuity is not as specified, replace sun roof relay.
