Clearing Codes
- After malfunction has been corrected, check for diagnostic codes again. See RETRIEVING CODES under DIAGNOSTICS. Ensure ignition is on (engine off). Connect diagnostic terminal "A" to diagnosis connector terminal No. 2.
- While warning light is flashing, connect diagnostic terminal "B" to diagnosis connector terminal No. 2 for at least 3 seconds. See Fig 1. Verify codes have cleared. Disconnect both diagnostic terminals from diagnostic connector. Codes cannot be cleared if problem still exists.
