Removal & Installation (Legacy)

  1. Lift and support vehicle. Remove rear wheels. Ensure shift selector is in neutral position. Remove rear exhaust pipe with muffler. Remove rear differential. See DIFFERENTIAL  .
  2. Remove front link from subframe. See Fig 1 . Remove right subframe support. Remove stabilizer link. Using transmission jack, support rear arm horizontally. Scribe reference mark on rear link adjustment bolt for reassembly reference. Remove rear link from subframe.
  3. Remove upper link from subframe. Place transmission jack under rear subframe. Remove rear subframe. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten lateral links bolts with vehicle on ground. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
