Clutch Coil: Removal

  1. Remove compressor from vehicle. Use Spanner Wrench (09977-29000 or 09977-34000) to hold clutch hub and remove clutch hub retaining bolt. Remove clutch hub, using an 8 mm threaded into shaft hole.
  2. Remove pulley/bearing assembly snap ring. Remove pulley/bearing assembly. Install shaft protector over nose of compressor. Use Bearing & Gear Puller (09495-33000) to pull clutch coil from compressor. See Figure orFigure .
