Cylinder Head: Installation

  1. Ensure mating surfaces are clean and dry. Install NEW head gasket. Coat head bolt threads and washers with oil. Tighten bolts to specification in sequence. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
