Testing - System Operation Check

Turn ignition switch to ON position. AIR BAG warning light in instrument cluster should illuminate for approximately 8 seconds. If AIR BAG warning light stays on for longer than 8 seconds, or does not come on, SRS is malfunctioning. See DIAGNOSIS  .
