Shift Solenoids, Duty Solenoids & Valve Body: Removal

  1. Drain fluid and remove oil pan and gasket. Before disconnecting 4 wiring harness connectors at duty and shift solenoids, note shape of connectors and/or wire colors going to appropriate solenoids. Remove 2 Black and 4 Yellow bolts retaining oil pipe, harness bracket and oil filter.
  2. Remove filter and oil pipe. Remove 6 Black and 11 Yellow valve body attaching bolts. Remove valve body and accumulator springs. Remove shift solenoid assembly and duty solenoids "A" and "B" from valve body. See Figure .
