Removal & Installation (SVX)

Disconnect battery ground cable, airflow meter and hydraulic unit connectors. Remove air cleaner covers. Note position of hydraulic lines for installation reference. See Figure . Disconnect hydraulic lines from hydraulic unit and plug openings. Remove bolts retaining hydraulic unit and remove hydraulic unit. To install, reverse removal procedure. When installing a new hydraulic unit, apply Rust Preventive Wax (Nippeco LT or GB) to retaining bolts after tightening them.
