Air Bag Main Wiring Harness Test

  1. Unplug 12-pin Yellow connector (AB6) from control unit. Plug connector AB6 into connector 8B of test harness "B2".
  2. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 6 and 7 at connector 5B of test harness "B2". If resistance is less than 1000 ohms at either terminal, replace air bag main wiring harness. If resistance is 1000 ohm or more, replace control unit. See CONTROL UNIT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
