Air Bag Main Wiring Harness Test

  1. Remove glove box. Disconnect connector AB9 and AB10. Connect connector AB9 to test harness "C", connector 1C. Disconnect connector AB6 from air bag control module. Connect connector AB6 to test harness "B2" connector 8B.
  2. Measure resistance between terminal No. 6 at connector 5B of test harness "B2" and terminal No. 4 at connector 3C of test harness "C". Measure resistance between terminal No. 7 at connector 5B of test harness "B2" and terminal No. 3 at connector 3C of test harness "C".
  3. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, replace air bag main wiring harness. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, replace air bag control unit. See CONTROL UNIT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
