Discharge Solenoid Valve

Discharge solenoid is located next to compressor. Measure resistance between solenoid valve terminals No. 2 and 4. Resistance should be 25-35 ohms. Apply 12 volts to solenoid terminals. Listen for sound from valve. If there is no sound, discharge solenoid valve is defective.
